Garage Door Repair
If your garage door is not working, we will make it right. Mr. Garage Door can repair any type of garage door. We follow state and federal safety guidelines provided for the security of your family. This includes the mandate about operators that are manufactured on or before 1993 (more information below). With Mr. Garage Door, estimates are always free! No stipulations and no hidden fees or requirements. We will come to your home or business and give you an estimate for the services you need, and then we will either do the work upon approval or thank you for the opportunity to inspect your door.
No repairs will be conducted without prior consent and full disclosure from the technician of all repairs recommended or required to bring the garage door and operator to proper and safe working condition. No charges will be applied until our work is complete unless arrangements have been made prior to work being done.
About Garage Doors Manufactured Before 1993
In 1993, the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) enacted into law new rules ensuring that all garage door openers manufactured had external entrapment protection devices, such as infrared sensors or sensing edges, in addition to the internal contact reverse mechanism.
The CPSC mandates that doors manufactured before 1993 are a safety hazard and should be replaced. More information can be found on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website. Mr. Garage Door complies with these safety guidelines and will not repair or service garage doors made prior to 1993.
